Call of Scholarships of the Ministry of Outer Subjects and Cooperation and of the Spanish Agenica for the Cooperation the International of Spain

the call of Scholarships MAEC-AECI 2008 - 2009, will be effective from day 8 of December of the 2007.

CHAPTER II. - SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FOREIGNERS FOR STUDIES DE POSTGRADO, OF DOCTORATE AND INVESTIGATION IN SPAIN.

Program II.A: Scholarships for Foreigners for Studies of Postgrado, Doctorate and Investigation in Spanish Universities and their assigned Centers (except for studies of Spanish Language and Culture - To see Program I.A) (denominated Program MUTIS, for Latin American applicants). -

Term of presentation of requests:

· From the following day to the publication in the BOE, to the 28 of December of 2007

Duration:

· Up to 1 year, as of October 2008.

· Prorrogable until 2º year more for studies of postdegree and investigation, and until 3º final year, exclusively for studies of doctorate and with improrrogable character.

· In case the beneficiary had initiated the doctorate prior to the concession of the scholarship, the total duration of the same one, according to the indicated thing, will be reduced in equal proportion to the time that the beneficiary took making the doctorate studies before his concession.

Specific requirements:

· In order to make postdegree studies (masters, specialization and expert), to have university title superior, equivalent to Spanish lawyer.

· In order to make studies of doctorate or investigation, to have university title superior, equivalent to Spanish lawyer, preferredly three years before the moment for getting up itself to the training center of destiny, with guaranteed perspective to continue educational or investigating race in Universities or Centers of its country of origin to the return.

· To have the preadmission of the Center of destiny.

Dowry:

Requisitos: Se conceden a nacionales de países iberoamericanos (excluyendo a México), España y Portugal.

Dotación: manutención (equivalente a 3,5 salarios mínimos), seguro médico, costos de colegiatura.

Requisitos: a nacionales de cualquier país que tengan: (a) un diploma de posgrado en ciencias sociales o experiencia académica equivalente, y al menos cuatro años de experiencia en investigación, y que dominen dos idiomas vivos además del castellano;
(b) una licenciatura en lingüística o disciplinas afines y que hablen alguna lengua indígena americana o tengan experiencia profesional en alguna de ellas;
(c) una licenciatura en disciplinas antropológicas o afines;
(d) título de abogado o sean funcionarios oficiales o miembros de ONGs con experiencia en defensoría de indígenas; (e) a egresados y titulados en ciencias sociales.
